Hort del Silenci participates in an Operational Group promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, within the framework of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). In this area, an Operational Group is made up of different people or companies linked to the agri-food sector, who have common interests and who work together on a specific and practical innovation project. These projects are co-financed by the European Union through Grants for Cooperation for Innovation (operation 16.01.01 of the Rural Development Program of Catalonia 2014-2022). In this sense, last June the budget for different operational groups was approved, including that of Hort del Silenci:

LIQUIDS – Evaluation of the use of indigenous varieties of legumes from organic farming and application of innovative solutions to reduce waste

AGROPECUARIA D’ARTESA DE SEGRE, ECOARTESA and HORT DEL SILENCI, as beneficiary members of the operational group, together with RESTAURACIÓN COLECTIVA, as a non-beneficiary member, and IRTA, as a technological center, are carrying out this project which aims to the development of innovative products based on surpluses of indigenous varieties of legumes from organic farming.
